Project Graduation
Project Graduation is an all-night party for graduating seniors.
The purpose of the event is to celebrate the accomplishments of the Seniors and more importantly, to demonstrate celebrating can be done in a safe, drug and alcohol-free environment. The event is lock-in style.
Seniors arrive, are checked in and may not leave until approximately 5:00 a.m. the next morning (specific times TBD and will be announced at a later date). Parents/guardians must sign a release for participation (if Senior is under the age of 18). Parents will be notified if the Senior is registered for the event and does not show.
Parents, family members, friends and SENIORS support this event annually through their fundraising efforts. ALL monies raised via our fundraising efforts are for the sole purpose of hosting this event. We provide food, drink and entertainment for the entire time of the event.
Fundraising for this event is a very large undertaking as we have approximately 350 graduates. This event is all-inclusive to every graduating senior regardless of how they are attending (LHS, alternative and virtual).
This event is entirely formed and made possible by Volunteers. Parents also serve as volunteers at the all-night party. We need YOUR help as we have several fundraising events, some running simultaneously, throughout the school year. If you have not recently filled out a Lapeer Community Schools Volunteer form, please fill one out via the link below.
Our main platform for communication is our Facebook group, Lapeer High School Project Graduation: Class of 2026. Please follow this page for the most up-to-date information.
To make this night a success, we need your support. We are working to ensure great food, and non-stop entertainment. Our goal is to raise $20,000! This event is entirely funded by donations from parents and our community so, we need your help now! Parents can help by making a cash donation, supporting a fundraiser or making a purchase from the Amazon Wishlist.

Dear Class of 2026 Students and Parents,
We are writing on behalf of Lapeer Community Schools’ Project Graduation 2026. Project Graduation is 100% volunteer based and funded by fundraising to provide graduating seniors of Lapeer High School, Lapeer Community High School, and Lapeer Virtual Partnership a free party to celebrate their graduation with their classmates in a safe environment.
This year’s event will occur on Thursday June 4, 2026 at Legacy 925 in Oxford following the Graduation Ceremony.
This is an all-night party that occurs after the commencement ceremony and gives the graduating seniors a variety of fun activities to participate in such as photo booths, hypnotists, caricaturists, and a host of games as well as food, soft drinks, a coffee bar, and numerous raffle items. Our intent is that each student leaves the event with unforgettable memories and prizes.
We rely on generous support from students, parents, family, community and businesses to fund this annual celebration event. We would be extremely grateful for any contribution your budget would allow to make the Class of 2026’s All Night Party a memorable event for all students. Project Graduation is run through Lapeer Community Schools accounts.
Donations can be made by cash, check, gift cards, items that could be used for raffles or items listed on the Project Graduation Amazon Wishlist. We also would love donations of food, pops, water, or coffee items to feed the kids on the night of the party!
There are several fundraising opportunities that are currently occurring as well as upcoming events that need the full support of parents and students. The money raised helps to pay for vendors at the event, transportation, food, prizes, etc. Student and family support is vital to the success of the party for the Lapeer Community Schools Class of 2026.
