Hello My Name Is...
Mrs. Dodson
I am SO excited to be a part of the Murphy Second Grade Team! More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning new adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I want to know ALL about you, but first let me tell you a few things about me.
I was born and raised in Capac, MI and I am the youngest and only girl of FIVE! I have seven nieces and nephews, and even two great nephews! I LOVE them! I graduated from The University of Michigan-Flint in 2000 with a Science Degree and began teaching children right away. GO BLUE!
I have taught every elementary grade except Kindergarten. This will be my 13th year of teaching and I love elementary because I get excited to see children learn new things and feel successful.
This October I am getting married to Mr. Josh Dodson {that’s why my name has changed…from Rinke to Dodson}. We have a huge dog named Mackinac, named after the big bridge of course! He is a Leonberger and weighs close to 150 pounds! Don’t worry though he’s a big cuddle guy.
I’m so excited to meet you and spend the next school year with you! This is going to be a “Hoppy” year!!
